Moving From Test Flight to Prototype
From Ken to our trusted testers and fans, the feedback on the Coast has been overwhelmingly positive. This means that no tweaks to the Coast were necessary and the mold will remain the same from Test Flight to Prototype and beyond.

The Champ shared, "since getting the Coast, I'm throwing it on like 60% of my tee shots". He likes that he can power it down and drop it on a dime or put some juice on it to reach holes a midrange normally can’t get to.

Test Flights vs Prototypes
The Coast mold itself did not change between runs, but the plastic blend did. Test Flights were ran in Victory Line with a Swirl effect. In flight, we're not seeing major difference in glide or stability. You’ll notice a difference in the hand-feel, though, with the Signature Line (Prototype) offering a little more grip. Flight numbers on the Coast are set at 6|6|-1|1.

A post shared by Climo Disc Golf (@climodiscgolf)We’re Set on Calling it a Midrange
Is there even a debate or are we just manufacturing drama? We’ve seen speed 6 discs called mids and seen them called fairways. The Climo Coast has flight characteristics that land it in both categories. Based on the shape, we think it ever so slightly leans towards midrange.

Local Shops and Online Retailers

The Climo Prototype Coast is available for wholesale orders now. Retailers can begin selling those as soon as they receive. If your local shop is missing Climo from their shelves, let them know that they can order the whole lineup direct from Michigan on the Discraft wholesale order form.

We encourage you to support your local brick and mortars!
